Abstract
|
|
|
This paper presents a case of sparganosis which was found in six years old Korean girl.
She had been suffering from a growing mass on her right upper abdominal wall which was soft palpated without tenderness.
From the lesion-egg sized soft mass, two sparganas were obtained by surgical excision.
It was disclosed as milky white and ribbon like in shape worms with no segments, and attained length of about 40 cm and 24 cm.
